Go there. Open the cheevo from the Explore map and tap Check in. Cheevo confirms your location, then you can add a photo or note if you like. Some cheevos need one specific place, some any place of a kind (like any museum), and some just need you to be in Greater New Orleans.

Make sure Location Services are on for Cheevo: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Cheevo, then choose 'While Using the App' and turn on Precise Location. Being indoors or between tall buildings can make GPS less accurate, so try stepping outside.

No. Every check-in is verified with your location, so a cheevo means you really went.

Parades, Carnival, Jazz Fest and other events have their own cheevos for each year, like Jazz Fest Jiver 2027. You can unlock them while the event is on. When an event comes back next year, so does a new cheevo.

Each cheevo earns its points once. Unlocking it again raises its tier: bronze on the first visit, silver at 5, gold at 10. Your streak counts weeks (Monday to Sunday, New Orleans time) in which you unlocked at least one cheevo.

You choose for every post: Public, Followers Only or Private. To block someone, open the menu (…) on one of their posts and choose Block. You can review blocked users in Settings (the gear icon on your Profile).

Yes. Open the menu (…) on your post and choose Delete Cheevo. This can't be undone, and if it was your only copy of that cheevo its points are removed too.

Open the menu (…) on the post and choose Report, then pick a reason. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.

In the app, go to your Profile, tap the gear icon, then Delete Account. You can also follow the steps at cheevoapp.com/delete-account. Deleting your account is permanent and removes your data.
